The 2008-2009 Season
Our goal is to assist in
Temple activities when needed. We look forward to taking time out of our
busy lives to meet for breakfast to enjoy each others company and words of
wisdom.
Our dues this year are
$15.00. Please do me a favor and mail checks in the amount of $15.00, made
payable to Temple Beth El Men’s Club, to Steven Z. Feuer, 23 Ford Avenue,
Oneonta, NY 13820.
If you mail a check it will save the Men’s Club the cost of postage in sending
out invoices.

Men's Club Breakfasts
We have had great turnouts this year for our Men’s Club breakfasts. On most occasions we have at least 24 members in attendance.
The Men's Club meets once a
month in the Social Hall for a breakfast. We use this informal
occasion to socialize and to discuss current issues that are of interest to all.
We meet for breakfast, in the
social room downstairs in the Temple at 10:00a.m., on the third Sunday of most
months (check the Shofar to verify or wait for my call). If you are a male over
13 years of age or older and a member of the Temple, or a prospective member of
the Temple, please join us for our next Men’s Club Breakfast. The cost is only
$5.00 for breakfast.

The 2007-2008 Season
We had a great year. It was the first time in over a decade that we have had a meeting every month during the year. Our attendance was excellent. I want to welcome new members, David Zeitlin, Joseph Schmer and Robert Kolin. I would like to thank one of our new members, Robert Kolin, for helping to trim the bushes in the front of the Temple. I also want to extend my grateful appreciation to the Sukkot builders, Michael Budin, Lee Losak, Sid Goldman and Jeffrey Harris, and our Sukkah decorator, George Betts. I would also like to thank the Sisterhood for arranging to have donuts for this year’s crew of Sukkot builders. A big thank you to Howard Gelbsman for shopping and cooking breakfast. There is no better breakfast on a Sunday morning, than served at the Men’s Club Breakfast at Temple Beth El.
