We are concerned with keeping everyone safe as we return to Temple Beth El’s building.
Here are the opening protocols for those who have been vaccinated — only fully vaccinated adults will be admitted. All attendees must put on their mask before entering. Your mask must cover your nose and your mouth.
Families with children are welcome to attend if the children remain masked and the adults are fully vaccinated.
First and most importantly, check yourself before traveling to TBE. Do not come if you do not feel well, have a temperature, or have not been vaccinated.
We will enter through the front door and exit out the side door onto the ramp. All traffic will be one way only.
When entering, please allow the people in front of you plenty of space, at least 6- 12 feet, before you enter. Enter, use hand sanitizer, and keep walking all the way to the sanctuary.
There will be hand sanitizer available. We encourage you to use it as you enter and as you leave. Also, please use it on the way into and again as you leave the restroom.
Seating will be spaced out throughout the entire sanctuary area. Some pews will be cordoned off. Tape will indicate safe areas to sit. Please sit alone or with your immediate family members.
Prayer books will be in the pews. Please keep them in the pews and do not return them to the bookshelves at the back of the room.
Windows will be opened to encourage more air circulation. Please wear more layers than you ordinarily might in case it is chilly. Do not use the coat room, keep your coat or wrap with you.
The live services will also be available via Zoom for those who cannot or will not attend in person.
Saturday morning Torah study will take place in the Social Hall to allow for social distancing between participants.
The Sanctuary and Social Hall will be fully cleaned before and after all events.
