This is a very busy month at Temple Beth El. Please refer to your Shofar and to our website to check the days and times for our planned services.
We have been enjoying the services of our new Rabbi this month. If you haven’t attended yet, you will meet him at the High Holy Day services. He brings us many new melodies for the prayers and a new perspective interpreting the Torah portions that we read. I am enjoying his services and working with him.
As you attend the services, onegs, break the fast, and other events at Temple Beth El, keep in mind the many people who are working to prepare these events for you. We have a very dedicated Board of Trustees and volunteers who know how everything works and have volunteered doing the same tasks for many years. However, there is always room for more people to help. As you enter this time of introspection, look to see if you might want to add volunteering at TBE events to your list of things you will do in the next year. You won’t have to work alone or take charge of anything. Your presence will be appreciated.
Hope to see you soon. I send my personal wish to you and your family for a happy and health New Year.
