Four of us got together at the October Women’s Club meeting. We had lunch and Stephanie shared her experience with hearing loss. We learned how to interpret an audio-gram and we had an opportunity to listen to a modern digital hearing aid. The main message of the day was not to delay if you need a hearing aid. Adjusting to a new hearing aid is quicker and more effective if you get it when you need it and not years later. They are effective, expensive, high tech devices that keep your brain connected to the world of sound and you connected to the people in your life.
The next Women’s Club meeting will be on Sunday, November 4. Vivian Peters will be talking about her book, Oops, Tales from a Sexpert. Bring your dairy lunch and join us.
